Even if Crawford said “he must pay the price”, as a coach, and within a hockey environment, that could easily, and most likely means, either play this guy hard, or check him, or even fight him. I can’t see how a judge or jury will buy this claim that Crawford’s negligence led to your attempted murder on Steve Moore. No other player tried to break Moore’s neck. Only the dumb jock did.
